KERRY defeated the Jimboomba Bushrangers in the semi-final at Selwyn Park on Saturday.
Kerry won the toss and elected to bat.
After a steady start and with the loss of only two wickets, Kerry was 2/62 after 17 overs at first drinks.
Sam Stewart and Dan Samphier (31) combined during the middle stages with a 108-run partnership before Stewart was dismissed for 86.
Kerry eventually made 9/254 off 50 overs.
C Brook (22) and D Steinhardt (20) also batted well for Kerry.
J Sawyer (10/0/3/49), B Lorenti (10/1/2/33) and B Holley (10/0/2/54) were the best bowlers for Jimboomba.
Jimboomba began its run chase with the loss of an early wicket before M Swinn (23) and B Holley (20) helped Jimboomba to 2/53 after 17 overs.
After they were dismissed, J Sawyer and L Singh combined in the middle stages to help them to 3/140 at the second drinks break, with Jimboomba only requiring 114 in the last session of play.
Kerry got a little bit of luck with J Sawyer (76) being run out.
Singh was then joined by J Nuis for a quick fire 45 run partnership before Nuis was dismissed for 26.
The Kerry bowlers took quick wickets and were finally able to dismiss Singh for 56 with Jimboomba eventually all out for 236.
The best bowlers for Kerry were J Thorne (9/0/3/46) and C Ryan (10/2/2/34).
D Ledger and A Jordan also took a wicket each.
The finals match against the Beaudesert Tigers will be at 2.30pm this Saturday at Selwyn Park.
JIMBOOMBA had a narrow victory over Kuraby to win the grand final match at Beaudesert State High School at the weekend.
Kuraby won the toss and sent Jimboomba into bat.
The team bowled an excellent line and length for the 25 overs and were able to restrict Jimboomba to 7/94.
Kuraby then batted very steadily during its 25 overs and finished the first day on 2/75.
Kuraby completed its batting first on the second day and finished 8/140, setting Jimboomba 52 runs to win.
Best bowlers for Jimboomba were Jared Shaw (2/9) and Brandon Duckworth (2/16).
Even though wickets were lost in the run chase Jimboomba was able to score the required six runs off the last over.
Best batsmen for Jimboomba were Brayden Hayes (35 no), Ben Thurlow (26 no), Arden Coy (19) and Brand Duckworth (18).
Final score was Jimboomba 12/205 and Kuraby 8/200.
